Success is defined by the contributions we make to academic and creative literature, the conversations we spark, and the voices we raise. Like most nonprofit publishers, we rely on generous philanthropic support to flourish. If you, too, believe strongly that the written word has power to do more than simply inform–that it can sway, inspire, enlighten, and uplift–we ask you to join us today in realizing our vision for tomorrow.
A Resident Scholar Program Endowment will supplement The Southern Review’s current staffing of two editors and a GA, who produce four issues annually and read and assess thousands of submissions.
Gifts are needed for acquisitions-focused marketing, e.g., participating in conferences to acquire books (a priority for growing the list), subscriptions, innovative programs such as author advances, and reach.
Naming potential exists for various book series.
Gifts to support author advances will ensure both the LSU Press and The Southern Review continue to attract high-quality submissions.
Your investment in LSU will shape our role in leading Louisiana and impacting the world.
