We have a vision for tomorrow.

LSU Law is dedicated to our mission of scholarship, teaching, and service, and to preserving Louisiana’s unique legal heritage, which combines the finest of French and Spanish civilian legal traditions with the breadth of the Anglo-American common law. At our educational core is the knowledge that learning both legal systems ensures access to national and international markets. We prepare practice-ready graduates who lead in the public and private sectors in the U.S. and around the world.
